What are ECV Career Chats?
ECV Career Chats are interactive sessions in an educational setting where students have the chance to meet professionals based in the Coachella Valley, ask them questions about their field, and learn how they can start preparing for that line of work. We partner with the Coachella Valley Unified School District to provide students with opportunities to network with professionals from different career paths. ECV Career Chats: Spring 2022
On March 24, 2022 ECV for Change partnered with the Coachella Valley Unified School District to kick off ECV Career Chats - a brown-bag style lunch session series tor high school students to learn about different professions. For this session, we invited Maria Wren, CEO and Founder of SMaRT Education, and David Budai, CTE and TOSA of Coachella Unified School District, to speak with 9th grade students about potential STEM careers and how to get a head start on pursuing these career paths. A special thank you to Chapala, a local restaurant based in Indio, and other community sponsors for providing students with lunch!
